This page contains a list of the current Local Rules that apply at all times.

The Temporary Local Rules page contains a list of rules that are currently in place due to specific course conditions or other temporary factors.

OUT OF BOUNDS ( RULE 18 )

  • a) In or beyond any hedge, ditch, or fence bounding the course.
  • b) The inside point at ground level of any line of white stakes, white line or post defining out of bounds.
  • c) The practice area.
  • d) Over the river when playing the 10th, 11th, 17th and 18th holes.
  • e) Any ball landing on the par 3 course.
  • f) Beyond the white posts to the right of the 15th hole bordering the 14th hole.
  • g) In or beyond the ditch to the right of the 15th green.

PENALTY AREAS ( RULE 17 )

  • All penalty areas are indicated by red stakes.

OBSTRUCTIONS ( RULES 15 AND  16 )

  • a) All stakes, hoops and ropes are deemed Immovable Obstructions (Rule 16.1 applies).
  • b) Trees identified with a stake or with a protective wrapping at the base are No Play Zones (Rule 16.1 applies).
  • c) 150 and 100 yard marker posts are Immovable Obstructions (Rule 16.1 applies).
  • d) All cart paths and pathways are Immovable Obstructions (Rule 16.1 applies).
  • e) All storm drains (raised mounds on 1st, 10th, 12th and 15th holes) are Immovable Obstructions (Rule 16.1 applies). 

GROUND UNDER REPAIR / NO PLAY ZONES - PLAY PROHIBITED ( RULE 16.1f APPLIES )

If a players ball lies in a No Play Zone, which play is prohibited from, or if such an area of Ground Under Repair interferes with the player’s stance, or the area of their intended swing, the player must take relief.

  • Any bunker designated Ground Under Repair, must be declared 'General Area'.
  • Drainage tracks are to be treated as Ground Under Repair.
  • All cut tree stumps are Ground Under Repair. (Rule 16.1 applies).
  • All indentified tree plantations are designated Ground Under Repair/No Play Zones.
  • Cracks in the ground in parts of the General Area cut to fairway height or less.

PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULE:

Match Play: Loss of hole
Stroke Play: Two Strokes

YARDAGE POSTS (TO CENTRE OF GREEN):

150 Yards = White Ringed
100 Yards = Blue Ringed

PLEASE NOTE:

In the event of lightning or a thunderstorm occurring whilst you are on the course, players are advised to leave the course immediately. If you choose to play on, it is at your own risk. No siren/alarm will be sounded by the Club.

Participation in the sport of golf carries inherent risks, both to golfers and to others using or present on the course. It is incumbent on those engaged in the playing of golf to act in a responsible manner with due respect for their own safety and that of persons on the course both fellow players and non golfers alike. All golfers should ensure they are familiar with the general rules of golf as approved by R&A Rules Ltd and understand accepted practises of golf ettiquette, specifically those relating to safety, to ensure they act in a safe and responsible manner with due care and for themselves, their colleagues and third parties. In particular, if a player plays a ball in a direction where there is a danger of hitting somone, they should immediately shout a warning. The traditional warning in such situations is " fore".
